Torga Mission 1 design notes

1. Fit and Presciption Range:

This frame has a wide fit for large faces. It also includes nose pads for precision fitting and accurate vision. This frame generally suits lower prescriptions and can be used to correct for astigmatism, short- and near-sightedness. Multifocals can also be fitted to this frame.

2. Ventilation:

This frame incorporates a foam sweat guard to protect against perspiration entering the frame (although it is not a goggle and does not form a perfect seal). The frame also has a semi-rimless bottom design to aid with ventilation and thus reduce the possibility of condensation.

3. Lightweight:

The rimless design reduces weight. The included Trivex lenses are also amongst the lightest lenses available in the world, with the excellent optical performance.

4. Protection:

They included the latest technology Trivex lenses are not only fully UV protected, but offer excellent shatter protection as well, protecting from limited energy impacts such as debris from the road or trail (Please note, this product is not, however, a certified safety frame). The wide temples on the frame design protect your eyes from peripheral (side) glare and UV radiation.

5. Style:

We designed this frame with a high curve wrap angle to create a sporty, dynamic look.

Torga Optical’s own lens factory is ISO-9001 accredited and equipped with German precision technology and offers a wide range of prescription lens products. We manufacture to order Flexivue digital multifocal progressive lenses, bifocals, multifocals and prescription polarised lenses, as well as anti-glare, anti-scratch and blue light blocking coatings. We also manufacture high-curve prescription lenses for sports eyewear and a range of photochromic lenses including Torga's FLEXI-TINT lenses which darken when exposed to light and Transitions lenses.

Delivery times
Our standard manufacture time is 2-3 business days for low-prescription lenses; with specially-made lenses such as Multifocals with anti-reflection coating ranging from 4-5 business days. Free shipping is available on selected Torga products.

In a hurry or need to travel at short notice?
Take advantage of Torga Optical's no-middleman local manufacturing capabilities. Priority processing for your lenses is normally available at no extra charge. Please consult your nearest Torga Store or contact customer care to confirm.

Torga Optical Industry Leading Service and Guarantee Policies
If you’re not satisfied with the Torga spectacle product you purchased, Torga Optical will replace or repair within 30 days after purchase. Furthermore, all Torga eyewear comes with a 2-year manufacturer’s guarantee on materials and workmanship, ensuring you have confidence in your eyewear investment. Fair wear and tear and damage outside of normal use is excepted from this policy, and full terms and conditions apply. Seperate policies apply to contact lenses and other products such as safety eyewear. Ask your nearest Torga store for more details.
